Words I love
words so sweet
words make effort
seem incomplete
words are true
words can shine
words as music
sound divine.
Give me words
To feast upon
taste and texture
never be gone
For without words
life loses meaning
dull and lackless
almost seeming
to drain any joy
from your mind
thro’ love of words,
Creativity I find….

I do agree with you, Michiko San, words can be so beautiful especially words of Love, but hurtful ones can have that effect, I hope you’ve wiped them from your mind, my friend…so many words out there in the world to choose from why do people ‘choose’ to be nasty? ‘Tis a terrible failing , seems to me..
Many thanks for your lovely comment and pleased you enjoyed my play with words…xx

Life without words will be dull and lifeless. Without words, we would not name objects, we cannot name our first-born, and we cannot communicate. Words can express how we feel. Words can comfort those in distress or anguish. Words can teach us many things and learn about each other. Without them, how could we live our daily lives? Without them, we would be at a standstill and dumb. Silence is golden, but with words, we can speak our peace.

I agree with all you say, Seth, without the ability to voice our emotions we’d all be guessing what a person thinks and getting into all kinds of trouble… Words to me are beautiful, it’s the way some people use them that’s ugly…
many thanks for your view on words and for your comment…x
