Beams of light
announce the day
as millions of souls
wake and find their
way, through the life
they’ve come to live
giving whatever they
choose to give, to make
this day the best they
can, ever following the
footsteps of early man.

Always great to read your poems Pen! I AM striving to make this day the best I can (as I didn’t do that with yesterday) and so far it’s going swell! I just found out I get another $100 that they didn’t give me from my work trip! Now, if that doesn’t perk me up even a little bit then I may have lost the plot more than I thought! Savings are coming along nicely 🙂 Hope you have a lovely day yourself m’lady! Big hugs!!

Hi hun!!!! 🙂
I too hope the girls get some justice – this kind of child exploitation should include castration as well as a loooong time in prison!!!!
Yep, you’ve got him pegged Pen – he wants sympathy and for people to feel sorry for him, but talks such bullshit it seems that he is nothing but a user….
Racing comes shortly – and thanks for the kind words my friend!!! 🙂
Love and squishy hugs!!!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ Bravo Lady Pen, nicely expressed as usual. I like waking up early in the morning and experiencing the sun rise, but I find my mornings so busy. 😦 I only wish that I could enjoy them more, then again, I do make the most of them on my days off. It really makes a difference in my energy for the day. But my favorite time is when it’s night. I love being outside in the nighttime when it’s so dark out. I’ll lay outside forever at night on my hammock. Everything is just so much more still and quiet. It’s relaxing and tranquil. I can think and it just makes me feel alive.

The scenario you’ve just described sounds wonderfully peaceful Seth, but now you’ve done it, I want a hammock, … do you have difficulty getting in and out? Rolling wise? and no, I don’t mean you rolling I mean the hammock,… or do I? 😉
many thanks for your comment and compliment , just glad you enjoyed the poem and it’s content. xx

Brilliant, brilliant!! Love these words “giving whatever they choose to give..” – how true is that? Some people are out to help others on the journey, whilst others are just running alone thinking they don’t need anybody. and the funny thing is, these paths have all been walked before, just like your fab poem says! 😀
Love n hugs from Manchester,
