Q & A …

question-mark-2question-mark-2question-mark-2question-mark-2   Is
there an
answer to every
question that forms
in our mind?
Are we  guided ever
onwards ‘til the answers we find?
Do we journey gaining knowledge
believing that’s what life is for?
Or is there more to life
than questioning?
    I believe that’s
one
question
  more.

  1. I have more unanswered question than I could shake a stick at….sometimes, I just got let it go. It’s easier on the mind for me to just take it as is comes.

  2. As I get older the questions change, but not always because we find answers.

  3. I think there are more answers than questions,
though my mind might draw a blank,
enough answers to make a boatload,
though of course, mine already sank,
    I’ve always got an answer,
    it’s written on my hand,
although I’m not sure which one,
    I hope you understand,
    And for the major questions,
which I’ve a long time sought,
The answers were there long ago,
    But sometimes I forgot,
    The answers to your question,
are like grains along the shore,
    they’re written into the fabric,
    of the universe forevermore.

When I was younger my answers were many,
    my questions were few,
    I mapped out my life,
I knew what I would do,
As I grew older my questions were many,
    my answers were few,
    everything had gone wrong,
i didn’t know what to do,
    It was all about relationships,
    from beginning til end,
    And how I’ve treated others,
    especially my friends,
    Now my answers are many,
    and I can clearly see,
all the things I once thought important,
    I can’t take with me.

Pen, you’ve asked important questions that can only be answered by you.

    • I can think of so many questions Dan, that I fear I might never find the answers, … and it seems from your poem that we all feel the same way… Mayhap there comes a time when the questions become totally unimportant as you say, and therefore no need for an answering search…

  5. Hi Lady P,
I’m a curious sort, I need answers, if I don’t get them then I feel the question continue to nag at me. I know some…maybe many, who have a different outlook, they seem to care less about finding answers to any question in life unless it pertains specifically to them. But I like to know more, from archeology and the questions of evolution, to just what is that design on Oreo cookies? flowers? triangles? 4 leaf clovers? Ahhg!! lol.
Wish you a wonderful day Pen, Big hug, Nikki x

    • Me too, Nikki, an unanswered question is like an itch you can’t scratch and ease… but as you say, I suppose we all have different outlooks and other things are just as important, although yes, why 4 leafed clover?… and why if we evolved into the species we are now, are there not different stages of evolving?… and are species evolving as we um…speak?… Hmm…this could get out of hand methinks.. 😀 Hugs to you Nikki… xxx

  7. Hi Pen, I feel as though I’m being guided at times, but I don’t know where I’m being guided to… if that makes sense?! My quest brings me more questions than answers… my coincidences do the same… There is more to life than questioning; but without questions will we learn anything new at all? I really like this thought provoking post, Lady P! 🙂

    • Well, it certainly had my brain working overtime writing it Sir Aquatom, as to when to bring an ending the questioning, and I still have more questions than answers… Perhaps I always will… xx

  8. a beautiful way to capture our questioning nature… although our search for answers can sometimes be quite tormenting… especially when there are opposing answers to the same question… lovely as always dear Lady P!

  9. There are some who think they know everything, and have an answer for everything whether it be right or wrong. Who wants to be a know it all Lady P, they journey would be pretty boring if we did….

    • That’s true Lady Jude, even the most greatest of minds question and seek answers, and without the search for more knowledge life would become pretty darn stale… Hope you’re having a great Wednesday my friend. xx

  12. Oh, Pen, you help me up onto my hobby horse once again, to drone on and on about the subconscious and how it roams restlessly, even as we sleep, finding answers….brilliant poem….

  13. Aaah. The meaning to how we pass our days. For each life there is a recipe, I think. We are just wired to believe what we learn is what we are here for, I think. There are other times I just feel we learn because this world would be an awful boring place without it; the questions, I mean. Sometimes, I even like to think our questions and answers help to define us . Beautiful far reaching thought in so few words, Pen.

    • That’s a good idea Leslie, our own recipe on life…adding a bit of this, and a bit of that, … to our taste. A very thoughtful response on a questioning subject… and yes, I totally agree, by questioning certain things we give account of ourselves too… thank you Leslie… xx

  14. To be or not to be, that is the question…
Well I like this poem Lady Pen but then I
like all of your offerings, even the toffees
when all the soft centres have been and
gone, but as for the questions that one is
often seeking, I think that it is better to be
less inquisitive and just enjoy ourselves,
well metaphorically speaking of course 🙂
Right now who’s turn is it to make all the
coffee’s? Oops another question 🙂 lol

Have a lovely Friday Lady Pen 🙂 😉

    Projecting always
    One more question

Ah, pen, what a truism. I am ever the one for questions. I am ever the one to challenge those who believe they know. Pursuing knowledge and gaining more ignorance. Beautifully stated!
