Window Views…

Harbour View Glass Windows enthral,
as if a picture framed
just there for viewing,
as if the eye is trained
to search out aspects,
as if held fast to admire
a slice of life’s tapestry,
as if to glance away
‘twill expire.

  3. Love the view and such an evocative choice of words, I wish I had a view like that to look out on so peaceful, and I can almost hear the birds sing. Ruby would like it too. X

    • It is a lovely view, isn’t it, Arlene?… one which I wish was mine to enjoy… I think I’d be in heaven… I know Ruby Tuesday would love it too,… I dreamed of going to such a place when My Girl was alive, but it was a pipe dream… and I found I didn’t smoke..😉 … Glad you enjoyed this one….warmest of hugs and woofs to you two from me…xx

    • I have just the place on a bare wall for a tapestry. Sir Aquatom, and as I view it I think to myself…’one day, one day it’ll hang there’ Mayhap I’m more of a dreamer than a .. doer?… I hope not….and yes, nice view… x

  13. My own view of the world is perhaps different as we each view from our own windows Life in its other realities.. When we each truly LOOK.. we all see a different perspective from our own stand-point … And thats what makes the world so interesting… So diverse and rich nothing is the same given any window of time………..🙂
    Lovely poem Pen xox

  17. I really love the picture in the frame…
A thought that popped in mind is….how cool is that for each that looks out the window something different they would see, feel, perceive…
