A moonlit night,
showing face serene,
such majestic light,
a silvery moonbeam,
cloudy shadows
drifting high,
a portrait
created
in the
evening sky.

Oh I’ve always loved Lady Moon…she’s so beautiful and mysterious. Representing our inner Goddess and intuition , and though I have always imagined her beautiful and silver…she seems like a yellow globe of silent light in the sky over here!
What colour is she over where you are Pen?

Last time I saw her She was a pale white globe in the sky, Shree, …. I wonder why the differing aspects? Maybe light diffusion or height? … So many poems about her, she inspires the mind and makes for a wonderful subject… xxx

Oh see that’s how I picture her too! White…like silver a little. And yes maybe the location or it could be that I’m in the city and with all the smog…it changes her colour?

Maybe so Shree, I know that the lights from our cities make it difficult see the starry sky at night… Better in the less inhabited areas, or if you’ve got a good telescope… xx

I am afraid I have been terribly remiss in checking out your blog and poetry, Lady Pen. I have not the mind for poetry although I do appreciate well crafted thoughts and I enjoyed this poem very much. If their are nuances to be gleaned I fail most often but the imagery here is clear and enjoyable.

un bien joli portrait de ce que la vie peut créer d’elle-même sans l’aide de l’humain, un portrait de lune dans la pénombre bien magique avec un brin de maléfique effrayant
