Yes I got mine done too – but the DAB alarm clock needed resetting manually which was a disappointment! 🙂

Now he’s calmed down Doug is sweetness and light again, but I am heartily sick of his behaviour and I am no longer fooled by his more pleasant persona.

Today he posted a begging letter asking for hair ties so I gave him some old ones I don’t use that are nearly a decade old!

He’s desperate for attention and rambled on about all the people he’s had to repay who looked after and fed him when his benefits were stopped again.

He’s a fool to himself, yet keeps on trying to dominate and control everyone and everything around him.

When he fails?

That’s when he turns on me… 😦

Yes it has been a lovely Sunday morning and I saved a digger bee which had crawled into the building looking for a place to nest, so that’s my good deed for the day! 🙂

I doubt we’ve seen the last of the bad weather: The Jet Stream is still a mess and global warming is adding to our woes it seems… 😦

Yes I’m feeling good, but not tired! 😦

Tomorrow I go to the Art class in MIddleton, so no £24 round trip, just £8!!! 🙂

And of course it had to be April 1st, but at 12pm so hopefully no April fools stunts!!! 🙂

I’m about to have a final sip of water and then head for bed – tomorrow is another day!!! 🙂

I did pretty well! 🙂

I had a few false starts (OK SIX!!!) but I produced two good pieces and they look pretty good given I’m so rusty!!! 🙂

Yeah I had a moment of near panic, but I have a fault test routine which pretty much worked!!! 🙂

Hi Pen! 🙂

Yes, it WAS a lot of fun and we got on very well, but I surprised Peter with a mediocre drawing, then a pretty good piece using coloured pencils! 🙂

We had fun with the new system: The intercoms were wired to the wrong numbers so when I was buzzed, Doug heard his go off instead! 🙂

They fixed it, but we had a good chuckle about it! 🙂

Yeah it’s pretty dull and grey here too with occasional showers.

Tomorrow is a shopping day so I’m not looking forward to it, but it won’t be for as much food as I didn’t eat as much since the last shop. 🙂

I also have to pay my rent which is a necessary evil, but easily done! 🙂

I too hope for a lottery win – you’d be amazed at the number of people around me asking to be rewarded when I win!!! 🙂

The pollution doesn’t seem to have reached Manchester yet, we just have cloud cover and the threat of showers.

The Art class was pretty good, but the young girl who is a hairdresser managed to get black acrylic paint on her new sweatshirt wrist! 😦

I had to quit at 2pm because I needed my meds, but I really enjoyed it! 🙂

Windows 8.1 seems to work OK, but some of my old software doesn’t work well due to bad programming when it was originally written.

Yes, politicians DO seem to be more interested in their own affairs than in playing it straight and whenever there’s a problem they go to amazing lengths to dodge the bullet!!! 😦

I’m worried that next election it will be impossible to decide who to vote for, they are so shady in so many instances… 😦

Maria Miller did wrong, was protected, tried to bully her way out of trouble and in the end was forced to resign, but now Cameron is trying to distance himself from the mess!!! 😦

All they seem to care about is staying in power at any cost… 😦

I’m glad you have a garden as, being in a first floor flat, I have nowhere to put a garden!!! 🙂

Things here are quiet so I know what you mean about your neighbours – I was disturbed by my upstairs vomiting at one point, but he sounded OK afterwards! 🙂

Yes, all my essential chores done and shopping too so I’m in a good place! 🙂

I hope it doesn’t rain: A lot of people around here are off on their Easter holidays, so most of the kids are missing! 🙂

Yes, the killings in Ukraine are three too many! 😦

Uncle Vladimir wants the old USSR back which is why he’s trying to annex as much territory as possible and using his resources to control everyone else.

He did it in Georgia and he’s doing it again in the Ukraine.

We had a couple of showers over the weekend, but nothing heavy and we has a lot of broken cloud in between as well as hours of real sunlight! 🙂

Yes, hackers and virus writers now try to create ‘bot nets’ of thousands of contaminated computers so they can sell them to spam writers and criminals who use them to commit millions of crimes! 😦

When I was a programmer hackers were just writing funny viruses like the Cookie Monster virus which would only go away if you typed ‘Cookie’!

These days it is all for profit… 😦

Yes, the secret is NOT to trust links in emails as they lead to contaminated sites and not to open any files you are not expecting.

They are damned cunning these hackers… 😦

I use McAfee Total Protection.

It’s more expensive than most of its competitors, but comes with all bells and whistles! 🙂

Unfortunately it also comes with an annual fee, but what you pay for is what you get… 😉

NEVER click on links in emails no matter who you get them from – I had three off my brother: ALL were toxic!!! 😦

The caretakers shifted the stuff from the hallway so we’re fire risk free for the moment! 🙂

Yes, Doug with a skinfull is not the best kind of visitor – drunk he’s an Uber gangster! 😦

The headache comes and goes, but it’s mainly down to the medication which messes with my eyes.

I take Paracetamol which was donated by Linda when I was ill and ran out of medicines last Christmas.

Yes the bathroom update IS good news as it is a decade overdue, so I am looking forward to it once the hassles are over! 🙂

The teacher getting stabbed was horrific, but a sign of the times I’m afraid.

The kid that did it is clearly disturbed, but I don’t think I’ll be alone in wondering WHY!!!

Nothing excuses the taking of an innocent life… 😦

In my time here I’ve had teenagers hurl death threats at me in the street, I have been held at knife point (I told him to put it away or I’d make him eat it!) and at gun point (I called him a tosser and ignored him which wasn’t what he was expecting!) as well as having my windows smashed repeatedly by the same thugs over and over again until my landlord’s legal team got them all ASBO’s.

Today they are drug addicted dealers in the hands of a local homeless charity who are providing a drug rehabilitation program to them.

Personally I hope they get something nasty and die a horrible death… 😦

Let’s hope May is OUR month my friend – I fancy a jackpot win!!! 🙂
