Wet ‘n Windy…

                               The wind is so breezy                              
                                       the day seems so cold                                     
                              yet the summer is here                           
                                   or so we’ve been told,                                   
                               It’s threatening to rain                             
dark clouds overhead
                              maybe I’ll just turn over,                          
have a lazy day in bed.

Icy Thoughts…..

 

Winter is here,     of that there’s no doubt,
’tis cold, ’tis frosty,       there’s more snow about
to come drifting down,      ready to blanket us all
and here I have proof      that Jack Frost came to call.
His frozen calling card      was there on show,
when I arose this morning,    and wouldn’t you know?
camera battery has died,     how to take a photo?
thank goodness for my mobile,         here’s to you ………

Crystal Depths…..

 

 

Come, Crystal Ball I have stared long and true,
spending many, many  hours mesmerized by you.
Searching for vague signs of a future to be read
in your crystal depths,  was I mistaken instead?
If I stare long enough I see clouds unfurling
like tangled waves of time, inwardly swirling,
but wait, what’s this, a message through the curtain?
saying, ‘Shake this globe, and a Snowy Winter is certain’

So I did, …. and it’s all my fault…..
